Data Analyst

Skill Required:Must Haves:Ab-Initio continues flow, ETL, and Scripting.Good to Have:Data warehousing, Programming, Production support, SQL, Splunk, JMS queues.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:3-6 years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio development.Proficiency in designing and developing Ab Initio graphs and plans.Expertise in scripting languages such as Shell or Perl.Strong understanding of ETL concepts and best practices.Experience with data modelling and data warehousing.Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and their integration with Ab initio.Implement and optimize Ab Initio ETL processes for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Integrate and leverage cloud-native services for data storage, processing, and analytics.Ensure seamless and efficient cloud integration with Ab Initio solutions.Establish and maintain effective connectivity between Ab Initio and cloud platforms.Implement secure and scalable solutions for data movement between on-premises and cloud environments.Ability to analyze and optimize Ab Initio code for performance improvements.Experience with performance tuning of ETL processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.Experience working in a collaborative team environment.Ability to contribute positively to team discussions and decisions.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics or Engineering and / or equivalent formal training or work experience.Seven (7) years equivalent work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitativeBusiness problem solving, simulation development and / or predictive analytics.Extensive knowledge in data engineering and machine learning frameworks including design, development and implementation of highly complex systems and data pipelines.Extensive knowledge in Information Systems including design, development and implementation of large batch or online transaction-based systems.Strong understanding of the transportation industry, competitors, and evolving technologies.Experience providing leadership in a general planning or consulting setting. Experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-function project teams.Strong oral and written communication skills.A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. ATS
