Site Quantity Surveyor

Job Description A large contracting company with offices in Cape Town and Gauteng is looking for a Site Quantity Surveyor. Minimum requirements: •Accredited Degree in Quantity Surveying. •5-10 years working experience. •NEC contract experience is a must. •Strong working knowledge of Contract •Strong experience with Change Management. •Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) •Experience within a construction/engineering (EPC) background •Full driving license and own transport. Your responsibilities will include: •Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions (tenders), assessing of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts. •Undertake the subcontract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers. •Assist the Contract Administrator in the •Preparation, negotiation and agreement of subcontract compensation events and extension of time. •Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Cost Control Procedures. •Prepare Cost reports, Cashflow and Forecast Costs of subcontracts/suppliers. or
