We are a global company with operating centers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and India.About the Job:Cyderes is seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Security Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Defender and InTune, complemented by experience in other Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions such as Crowdstrike, Sentinel One, and others. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, implementing solutions, and offering ongoing support to optimize endpoint security posture for our clients.Responsibilities:Endpoint Security Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive endpoint security strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of clients, leveraging Microsoft Defender, InTune, and other EDR/MDR solutions.Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation and configuration of endpoint security solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and alignment with security best practices.Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on endpoint security technologies, providing guidance on deployment, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Defender, InTune, Crowdstrike, Sentinel One, and other relevant tools.Incident Response: Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate endpoint security incidents, utilizing advanced forensic techniques and analysis of security logs and alerts.Threat Intelligence: Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities affecting endpoint security, and incorporate threat intelligence into security strategies and operational procedures.Security Assessments: Conduct endpoint security assessments, identifying gaps and vulnerabilities in existing security measures, and recommending remediation actions to enhance overall security posture.Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, security requirements, and regulatory compliance needs, and provide tailored recommendations and solutions accordingly. Communicate effectively orally, in writing, and establish a cooperative working relationship with all people during the performance of assigned duties.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of endpoint security configurations, policies, and procedures, and prepare comprehensive reports for clients and internal stakeholders.Training and Knowledge: Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to educate clients and internal teams on endpoint security best practices, technologies, and emerging threats. Maintain current knowledge on industry issues/trends and competitive products.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing endpoint security solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Defender, InTune, Crowdstrike, Sentinel One, and other EDR/MDR platforms.Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, including malware prevention, detection, and response, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and endpoint management.Hands-on experience with security technologies such as antivirus, endpoint firewall, endpoint encryption, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and orchestration of endpoint security tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, understand their requirements, and articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or vendor-specific certifications in Microsoft Defender, InTune, Crowdstrike, or Sentinel One are highly desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation actions.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results on time.Cyderes is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
