Let's continue moving forward, together.Job SummaryNow, if you were to come on board as our Sr. Director, Supply Chain, we'd ask you to do the following for us:Develop a strong understanding of the commercial and operational needs of the businessSupport and enforce safe supply chain ideologyDrive the implementation of inventory tracking system across all branches, working in conjunction with the appropriate CGC support departmentsCreate and develop project and action plans to source appropriate products to satisfy business needsDevelop processes to minimize shrinkage, spoilage and wasteDevelop program to bring each branch to a 2 week rolling inventory planTrain Warehouse managers to right ordering behavioursReviewing long-term stock outs to implement a permanent solution instead of leaving it to the branch to manually swapWork with the sectors, analysts, and other internal stakeholders to proactively manage day-to-day processes and develop strategies for improvementProactively connect and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersSteward commercial process to drive compliance and accountabilityIdentify process and commercial revenue and/or improvement opportunities to positively impact the business P&LResolve issues and opportunities that have been escalatedFacilitate and/or coordinate applicable process trainingThink you have what it takes to be our Sr. Director, Supply Chain?
