Vice President & General Manager, Alberta Division Part Time / Full Time Vice President & General Manager, Alberta DivisionThis role entails being dedicated and driven to expand the Trucking presence throughout North America, all while maintaining a close-knit team culture and will be directly involved in setting and implementing the strategy that is needed to strengthen the operation and grow the business. Must possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and encourage teamwork. Must portray optimism, humbleness, and a strong drive for success. Having experience with the intricate technical aspects necessary for operating a premier long-haul cross-border trucking enterprise is a requirement.Responsibilities:Have full P&L accountability for the Alberta division.Be responsible for building a sustainable smooth-running operation, delivering exceptional customer service, and growing the business.Continuously working toward building the teams, systems, and accountability structure.Work through pricing network analysis, evaluating planning decisions.Manage the drivers on-road safety & compliance.Have the discipline to adjust pricing that is quick to adapt to a changing industry.Establish a backbone of consistent customer service and a customer first culture that doesn't say "no".Comfortable holding people accountable while still developing positive team dynamics.Develop a team of highly engaged, talented hungry leaders that trust each other, commit to a shared objective and are willing to make personal sacrifice to benefit the team.Build an operation and culture that ensures exceptionally consistent delivery of our customer service promise.Qualifications:5-10 year's experience in leadership role.5-10 year's experience in transportation.Prior experience in sales or entrepreneurship.Financial aptitude to understand basic profit model and reading financial statements and assist with freight pricing.Analytical skills to investigate and drill down into detailed operational reports.Highly effective with technology, with creativity in how to drive deeper implementation including (and well beyond) basic M365 products.Extremely high capacity for multitasking, fast changing priorities, and adversity.Ability to connect with a wide range of people, builds trust to motivate and influence behaviour.The ability to learn technical details about the various elements of a trucking business is mandatory.Need to be extremely hungry and driven to win.
