About the job
Understanding project objective and provide cost effective solutions to the design team
Ensuring the designs are feasible and within the shared budget
Developing layout/overlay plan with CAD designer
Preparing & reviewing technical drawings
Creating detailed BOQ for costing
Creating budgets for pitches
Attending site visits and preparing venue assessment reports
Attending internal and client meetings
Sharing meeting minutes
Supplier liaison & management
Ensuring quality control during build and install
Sourcing and managing equipment/event rentals
Third party certification (stability & Engineering tests )
Developing 3rd party documentation (method statement, risk assessment, supplier Insurances and liability forms)
Requirements
Previous experience of large-scale events of AED5M+
Min 5 years' event management experience in the UAE
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Process driven
Minimum 5 years of experience in the managerial position in the events industry
Production and technical expertise
Experience of organizing complex events
