Future Families is a non-profit organization rendering quality services to orphans and vulnerable children and people infected with HIV/AIDS in South Africa. This is the reality of families infected and affected by HIV in South Africa, and it is by no means the optimal family environment for young children to develop into well-functioning young adults. In response to the reality, Their organisation and local and international support agencies have developed an array of social work interventions to meet the emerging needs of Future Families and to empower them to create their own future. The HIV/AIDS pandemic has changed the face of families in Africa forever. The traditional generational structure of families is often no longer in place. Many grandparents who are too old for the role are raising their young grandchildren, and many "older" children are caring for their younger siblings. Company Name: Future Families Position: Senior M&E Office Remuneration: Negotiable Location: Tshwane Start Date: October 2 Closing Date: //2 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Tertiary qualification in Social Science, Statistics Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) At least 2 years' experience in project monitoring and evaluation (preferably in HIV/AIDS prevention and care and support programming) Experience in managing a team Willing to travel to various sites at own expense Excellent written communication and presentation skills with intermediate to advanced knowledge of the MS Office package especially MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Teams, Access etc High-level planning and organisational skills (attention to detail) Report writing experience Logical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills, including being a team player. Demonstrate strong professional attitude and behavior at all times Be able to work independently and be able to meet set target Must have a valid driver's license and be an active driver.   KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: M & E system and management Data collection and Data management Data capturing, verification, quality assurance and processing Data analysis and reporting Networking, Activism and Community Engagement Provide M & E technical support within the organization Ensure compliance to MER tools, MER plans and SOP's Facilitate review of reports and ensure timely data submission Conduct data verification and validation; ensure timely execution on Data Validation Monitor progress towards target achievement Capacity building on internal staff on M&E activities Attendance of meetings   For more info: application@futurefamilies.co.za Tagged as:
