The ecological solutions of Sulzer, such as bio-based chemicals, polymers and fuels, recycling technologies for textiles and plastic as well as carbon capture and utilization/storage, are contributing to a circular and sustainable economy. Sulzer Chemtech Separation Technology (ST, part of Sulzer's Chemtech division) develops, designs, and produces mass transfer equipment (eg trays, structured packing, gas liquid separators etc.) for separation processes like distillation, absorption, stripping, evaporation and phase separation. Also installation of this equipment is part of our portfolio.We now have an opportunity for a Head of Sales Renewables, Energy and Carbon Capture to support and help grow our activities in the Benelux territories. Based in our Breda Sulzer Chemtech office, you will be managing the experienced local sales team, supported by our application specialists at our HQ in Switzerland and Service Centre in the UK. We are looking for a Sales Manager with experience ideally in the environment of the Renewables, Oil &Gas, Refinery or Chemical market.In this role you will be accountable for:Lead our local Sales Team and enable them to unlock our full professional and market potentialDevelopment and implementation of sales plans as well as planning and execution of sales activities and strategies for the Benelux territory to include key account development, white spot conversion and win-back strategies, growing order intake and market penetrationReview customer technical and commercial RFQs to determine technical solutions, and support our proposals team to produce costing-, cash flow- and risk analysis in line with our internal requirementsLeading negotiations of technical/commercial proposals with customers and securing order awardsProactively identifying and progressing opportunities with customers, to include customer visits & reporting, presentation of our portfolio and ensuring technical / commercial preference positions for SulzerTo succeed in this role, you will need:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in mechanical or preferably chemical engineeringMinimum 5 years of international sales experience, preferably in a service environment of the Renewables Oil &Gas, Refinery or Chemical industryA high level of flexibility, excellent developed organizational, communication, and project management skillsThe ability to work independently as well as in a teamTo be fluent in both English and DutchTo be willing to travel mainly within Benelux and occasionally outside of the BeneluxTo have a valid Dutch driver's license BYour benefits:Sulzer offers an excellent package of benefits (CAO Metalektro), including:A more than competitive salary with an attractive annual bonus schemeFlexible working hoursA generous number of holidays (in total 40 holidays including Time compensation days)A solid pension scheme and a company carTraining and development opportunitiesLocation:We are based in Breda, which is a great place to live and work.
