UPM is looking for Saudi of the highest caliber to fill vacancies in Procurement department: Responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our operational needs. Roles requires a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with vendors.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Sourcing and Vendor Management:Identify potential suppliers and conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess their capabilities, pricing, and reliability.Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for the organization.Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and proactively seek opportunities to improve terms and conditions.Cost Optimization and Budget Management:Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement spend.Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.Procurement Process Management:Coordinate the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices.Monitor procurement metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimize the procurement process.Maintains records of goods ordered and received.Locates vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.Assists in analyzing market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future materials availability.Participates in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.Prepares and analyzes reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.Administers on-line purchasing systems.Oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.Oversees stock control and orders processing ensuring quality, delivery, and budget objectives are met.Communicates with other departments, staff groups, and customers.Responds to and deals with customer communications by means of email, fax, telephone, etc.Produces regular reports and statistics when needed.Monitors the quality of services to department.Required Education, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in procurement software and tools.Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Application Procedure:Please apply online and we will get in touch if the screening committee shortlists you for an interview.University of Prince Mugrin is located in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
