We contribute to the development of new or derivative aircraft and support continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft. The team also actively participates in flight testing activities and closely interacts with regulatory authorities to ensure safety and compliance to airworthiness requirementsIn your role, you willCalculate, analyze and document certified and/or operational aircraft performance data, for example:Performance data for the Flight Management System (FMS) and Flight ManualsPerformance data to support of sales campaignsUse technical engineering test data and/or analysis to develop/revise aircraft performance models.Develop, validate, maintain, and document aircraft performance software.Write and review engineering reports demonstrating compliance with airworthiness regulations.Plan and support wind-tunnel and flight test campaigns and validate all technical engineering outcomes.Support aircraft production through review and disposition of all technical engineering non-conformances with an aerodynamic impact.Contribute to the team's efforts to continually improve processes and efficienciesAs our ideal candidateYou possess a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical (or Mechanical) engineering and a minimum of 11 to 14 years of experience in the domain of aircraft performance during the development, certification and/or in-service support of aircraft;You possess a working knowledge of Part 25 certification requirements.You possess good interpersonal skills in order to work with other groups, suppliers and management as well as good written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of French would be an asset;You possess good programming skills (FORTRAN, Visual Basic, C++,C#, Perl, Python, Matlab) and a working knowledge of the UNIX operating system environment;You are a team player, self-motivated with strong leadership and analytical skills.You can work independently and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals established for you and work well in a small, dynamic environment.You have experience in leading a small group of people to accomplish medium to long term tasks.You have significant experience in the development, testing and certification of FMS Vspeeds and Performance data Provider Description Enabled SAP as service provider "route" is used for session stickiness"careerSiteCompanyId" is used to send the request to the correct data center"JSESSIONID" is placed on the visitor's device during the session so the server can identify the visitor Provider Description Enabled YouTube
