Join my client as a Warehouse Operations Manager!Are you ready to manage the warehouse's overall performance, from staffing to health and safety and cost management?Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Management & AdministrationOversee and enhance warehouse performance.Maintain stock accuracy through scheduled counts and process oversight.Optimize warehouse space planning and equipment maintenance.Health & SafetyEnsure strict compliance with health & safety standards.Conduct regular inspections and keep safety documentation up-to-date.Warehouse Cost ControlMonitor and manage all warehouse costs effectively.Control expenses related to waste disposal, labor, maintenance, and inspections.HousekeepingMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Coordinate waste disposal and equipment maintenance efficiently.Staff ManagementEnsure adequate staffing levels as per the organizational structure.Provide continuous training, performance management, and reviews for warehouse staff. Qualifications & Experience:Grade 12National Diploma or equivalent in material management, inventory, or procurement.4 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, stock control, or supply chain. Skills & Attributes:Strong managerial and organizational skills.Effective leadership and motivation capabilities.Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written).Proficiency in safety and legal procedures for handling goods.
