Ground Mount Quality Controller

QUALIFICATIONS:Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, installation practices, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NABCEP).Trade Tested ElectricianWireman's license - Installation Electrician (IE)PREFERRED SKILLS:Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to construction sites and electrical installations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commission of AC/DC systems.Installation and maintenance of solar systems.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:At minimum 3-5 years proven experience in Ground Mount or Solar Carport installations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Quality Control OversightConduct thorough inspections of ground-mounted solar PV systems throughout various stages of installation, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Identify and rectify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues promptly.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, test results, and quality control activities.Generate comprehensive reports documenting the status of solar PV installations, highlighting any deviations from standards or specifications.Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including project managers, supervisors, and clients.Safety Compliance:Coordinate with safety officers and site supervisors to address safety concerns promptly.Continuous Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of installation processes.Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar PV installations.Provide feedback and recommendations for process enhancements and optimization to improve overall quality and performance.
