At Empire, we are seeking a transformational leader to join our IT team as we continue to grow in North America. As VP, Business Solutions you will be responsible for leading significant transformation to Empire's diverse business processes & solutions leveraging our current application portfolio and introducing new applications supporting our growth. This role oversees deployment, management, and adoption of technology solutions across the entire application portfolio for the Construction, Finance & Accounting and Procurement divisions. This hybrid role is located at ourEmpire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in business or technology or relevant equivalent experience 8 to 10 years Technical Solution leadership 10+ years Project Management & Development An individual who can be the 'face' of the organization for vendor management, communications, both internally and externally Dynamic facilitation and influencing skills Leadership style that enjoys bringing project vision to life through through the creation of strategy and tactical applications Extensive experience in leading D365, OneStream, and financial consolidation platforms configuration, management & Integrations supporting business automation projects (Microsoft flow, Logic-Apps, and other integration tools) Thorough understanding of the Business workflows & process management 10-15 years mentoring, implementing and leading Agile Scrum methodologies within a matrixed organization Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, CA Rally, TFS, and/or CLM Bonus If You Have These Skills Microsoft Systems Development certifications will an asset Previous exposure or experience with D365 will be an asset Experience in a matrixed organization with interests in both Canada and the US Previous deployment experience with tools such as Salesforce.com, Pardot, PowerApps, Power-Bi, SharePoint SQL Why Join Empire? What You'll Be Doing Each Day Working with the functional leaders across the company to align & execute operational excellence and business improvement programs leveraging CRM, ERPs, Consolidation, Financial Reporting and Automation initiatives. Leading Community of Practices (COPs) to resolve and progress on relevant business issues and automation opportunities across all functional areas. Establishing technology architecture of the business solutions for sustainable and consistent reporting & automation of functional processes, licensing costs, and manages the Operational budgets of these applications. Managing Vendor relationships, onsite & offsite vendors, consultants and teams with project scoping, statement of work, partnership agreements, and engagements to successful execution. Championing continuous improvement activities to drive reduction in cycle-times and waste; coaches operational teams to conduct continuous improvements projects. Creating an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts.
