Job DescriptionAs an Business Partner, you are responsible for conducting analyses and (pre)studies that enhance the IT landscape and business processes and is accountable for continuously enhancing processes and systems. You advise the non- IT Business, identify improvements, process adjustments and contribute to achieving our strategic objectives. Within this position, you will collaborate actively with, among others, program managers, business process owners, process leads, IT team leds and IT experts.If you are interested in supporting Fugro in achieving improvements and acting as a valued partner in discussions this position might be interesting for you! Your roleYou serve as the strategic partner between the functional group Finance/day-to-day activities and back-office related functions, such as finance, such as accounting, supply chain and HR supported by ERP systems and the IT Application Services organisation;You challenge the organization to identify areas for improvement through process adjustments, automation, and/or robotics. This requires a thorough understanding of the organization's architecture, processes, systems, and data. You act as a project leader on projects of larger scale and/or complexity, sharing responsibility for project budgets, the plan of approach, and meeting deadlines;You identify areas for improvement and assist in the annual planning;You identify areas for improvement and assist in the annual planning. You are a trusted partner in support of global and regional business goals;You collaborate with the IT Application Services team and Project organization to ensure applications support business processes well and meet organisational needs;You prioritize the organization's interests and know when to escalate issues in a timely manner;You enjoy working with various global and regional stakeholders to ensure (business) objectives are achieved. You act as a trusted advisor on IT and you are able to provide guidance on the best fit for purpose solution.Your track recordYou have a BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of working experience with the functional side of IT applications and/or Project Management;You have proven experience in requirement analysis and process mapping;You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. In addition, you also have coaching skills to elevate your colleagues to a higher level;You take initiative, are creative and have the ability to think and act beyond process and field boundaries;You have excellent English language skills.
