With a commitment to security, reliability, and environmental responsibility, our client provides a secure and scalable infrastructure platform for organizations to drive growth and innovation in the digital era.Responsibilities:Specification Development: Lead the development of detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) specifications for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.Basis of Design (BOD) Documentation: Prepare comprehensive Basis of Design documents outlining the technical requirements and design parameters for MEP systems in data centres.Technical Documentation: Generate detailed technical documentation including drawings, calculations, and reports to support the design process and communicate project requirements effectively.Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis of MEP systems, utilizing advanced engineering principles and simulation tools to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability.Site-Based Support: Provide on-site support during various phases of the project, including construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting, to ensure successful implementation of the design and compliance with specifications.Requirements:Minimum 5 Years Data Centre Experience: Demonstrated experience working on data centre projects, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of this specialized environment.Full MEP Experience: Proficiency in all aspects of MEP design, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, airflow management, and chiller systems, with a focus on delivering robust and resilient solutions.QAQC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control): Strong commitment to quality assurance and quality control processes, with the ability to ensure that designs meet industry standards, codes, and client expectations.Autonomous: Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness in problem-solving and decision-making.Task Flexibility: Capacity to seamlessly transition between various tasks and responsibilities within the project lifecycle, adapting to changing priorities and requirements as needed.This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP engineer to take on a key leadership position within a dynamic data centre project team, contributing to the design and delivery of cutting-edge facilities that meet the evolving needs of modern technology infrastructure.
