*** QA Engineer - In House Financial Solution Technology Company - Hong Kong ***

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality assurance and testing distributed software by providing support and operations team with 2nd level analysis and resolution of production issues.
• Work closely with product team and operations team for new software deployment releases according to processes.
• Excellent understanding of testing best practices (manual and automated) : You will be involved in building and enhancement for new QA manual and automated tests (UI, data and services) and able to identify where tests should be automated.

Requirements

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience hands on executing and building QA / testing scenarios.
• Familiar with Web / UI testing and messaging and event‐driven architectures ‐ Rest /
• Experienced in testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber.
• Knowledge of SQL / relational databases
• Scripting / Data mining: Linux Shell, Python is a plus.
• Exposure with trading system / transactional system is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and occasionally work under pressure.
