About the Company: 100% New Zealand family owned, HealthPost is NZ’s largest natural health and wellness online retailer. Originating in the late 80’s the businesses foundations have been built on strong sustainable & environmental standards and this still remains at the heart of their business today, highlighted by their B Corp and Zero Carbon certifications. HealthPost is a team of close to 100 people with offices in Collingwood (Golden Bay) & Auckland. They have three leading online retail brands consisting of HealthPost, and newly acquired brands Flora & Fauna and Nourished Life which they have recently relaunched and are growing quickly, plus partner with many well-known purpose driven brands across ANZ who share their ethical values. With strong market share in NZ and growing demand in Australia, there is now an opportunity for an ambitious Sales & Marketing leader with a strong growth mindset to join their leadership team. About the Role: R eporting into the CEO, this newly created position will lead the groups sales and marketing efforts, overseeing strategy, execution, and performance. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, be driven by the challenge of maximising ecommerce sales and profitability and have a proven track record of developing high performing teams. Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Lead the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives across their three online retail brands.
- Analyse sales, margin and customer data and leverage insights to optimise performance.
- Lead and develop a high performing team of five people to achieve sales & growth targets.
- Negotiate effectively with suppliers to drive commercially favourable outcomes.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to stay ahead in a dynamic market landscape.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in retail sales and marketing leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving B2C online sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth.
- Skilled in advanced negotiation and persuasive communication for improved commercial results.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Global business experience strongly preferred; Australian market experience especially favoured.
