Commercial Finance Manager - Consumer Goods

About our client: A leading consumer goods of beauty and personal care products  Working Arrangement : Non-negotiable, candidate must be open to work onsite, Monday to Friday regular working hours, The office is located in BGC, Taguig Core Expertise in Business Partner, SOI management, Forecast & Budgeting About the role: Lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities to support Sales strategic priorities and customer plan for all BPUs. Incentivize business growth through analysis, insights and recommendations providing to the business.  Business Partnering
  • Be a sparring business partner for Sales and eCommerce functions, to proactively provide guidance and insights related to major financial issues that may impact the performance in the future.
  • Ensure that all business decisions are made, and business activities/operations executed under full consideration of all financial implications.
  • Proactively advise business if any opportunity to reinvest or revisit customer plans.
  • Lead Sales controlling team to ensure sales controlling activities will be delivered OTIF.
  • Provide guidance for customer planning by channel, monitor profitability and trade stock if any deviations to ensure the delivery of the results.
  • Cash-up of S&OP process on monthly basis.
  • Overseeing key financial KPIs of Sales and eCommerce and provide analysis and insights to support business on managing full SOI (NS, GM, TTC).
  • Responsible for full SOI of Cosmetics BPU and entire company.
  • Provide necessary financial reports and data to support business cases for investing and promoting sales and profitability.
  • Ensure OTIF deliverables of performance tracking versus budget and raise if any major risks & opportunity to management.
  • Support S&CM to conduct Pre / post evaluation for relevant promotion activities.
  • Responsible for reviewing and conducting channel MSO (Monthly Sales Outlook) & NSP (Net Selling Price) process.
  • Provide input for Launch & Relaunch on Selling Price and TTC.
  • Monitor Trade Term Condition (TTC) forecasting, ensure quality of tracking and invoice verification in SAP.
  • Confirm at quarter and year-end that TTC accruals are in line with spending in the market.
  • Review and approve monthly/quarterly sales incentives (including sales incentive for Beauty Advisors and Merchandisers.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and way of working related to reporting and forecasting process for Sales.
  • Represent or lead ad-hoc assignment and projects
  • Ensure internal control policies and compliance related to sales are up to date and followed at all levels.
  • Support all internal and external audit related activities and follow through actions upon recommendations
  • Conduct refresh training regularly for business partners (on processes, tools, etc).
  • Create, implement, maintain and monitor RCM & local sales policies
Marketing budget for S&CM and eCommerce
  • Create transparency in planning process with regards to brand budget including:
  • Customer Marketing Spends
  • eCommerce
  • Use BASE tools for budget steering for S&CM and eCommerce spends.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely accruals for S&CM and eCommerce marketing budget areas
Forecast and budgeting
  • Provide instructions on budgeting process and cycles to Head of Sales and Operations and Head of eCommerce
  • Responsible for overall planning of NGS to GM and input into TM1.
  • Support calculation of impact of price increases on Gross Margin.
  • Support business on budget preparation and manage important budgeting schedules ensuring all input will be submitted OTIF.
  • Sales & margin driver planning, review and comment on variances.
  • Provide solid monthly commentaries to Region based on performance analysis.
Team Management
  • Manage overall performance of Sales Controlling team. Address performance issues if any.
  • Provide support to team member on performance and development.
  • Improve team engagement and take lead in steering engagement action of team.
  • Ensure team members conform with company rules & regulation.
