We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant specializing in employee compensation/payroll processing to join our finance team. He/She will play a crucial role in the improvement of Genfinity and its Client’s current payroll processes, ensuring timely compliance with audit and BIR requirements. Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant
- With at least 2 years of work experience as a Senior Accountant specializing in payroll or in a similar role (Asst. Manager/Manager)
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in top 5 audit or accounting firms or business process outsourcing industry specializing in payroll services is an advantage
- Proficiency in any payroll system and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ensure accuracy, adherence to accounting principles, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee end-to-end accounting payroll processes, provide insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making
- Collaborate with HR payroll team for any accounting related payroll queries including client representation as needed, and ensure that SOPs and internal controls in payroll processing are implemented
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly tax returns and Annual Information Return/Annualization related to employee compensation of Genfinity and its Clients
- Assist in external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and supporting schedules. Address audit queries and recommendations for process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payroll processes. Implement changes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of payroll operations.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
