Job Summary: As an experienced Draftsperson you will play a critical role in our design and drafting department providing detailed drafting support for a wide range of projects. With a focus on quality and efficiency you will leverage your knowledge of the Australian environment to ensure our designs meet local standards and sustainability practices. Job Description:
- Develop detailed drawings for construction projects including residential commercial and industrial buildings with a focus on Australian environmental considerations.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and plans.
- Utilize CAD and other related software to create accurate and detailed work drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian building codes regulations and sustainability practices.
- Modify and revise designs to meet project requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
- Manage documentation and maintain project drawing files archives and databases.
- Stay uptodate with new drafting techniques building codes and legislation affecting the industry.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills needed:- Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Draftsperson proficient in 3D CAD modeling within the construction industry architectural metalwork or metal fabrication preferably with experience in the Australian environment.
- Strong proficiency in Onshape preferred. Experience with Solidworks and Inventor is a plus.
- Familiarity with Australian building codes standards and environmental regulations.
- Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
