Your expertise in navigating YouTube's algorithms, optimizing content, and engaging with audiences will be pivotal in organically expanding our subscriber base and viewership. You will serve as the creative and strategic backbone, developing a content marketing strategy that not only appeals to our target demographic but also supports the channel's goals. Core Responsibilities:

• Content Optimization and SEO Mastery: Implement advanced SEO tactics to enhance the visibility and searchability of our videos. This includes optimizing keywords, tags, and descriptions to improve our SEO rankings and ensure our content reaches the intended audience.
• Content Strategy Development and Execution: Collaborate with our podcast team to refine existing content for YouTube's format and spearhead the production of new content tailored to the platform. Your role encompasses the entire content production cycle from brainstorming and scripting to editing and publishing.
• Thumbnail Optimization: Employ A/B testing for thumbnails to maximize click-through rates, relying on analytical insights to determine the most compelling visual elements.
• Engagement and Community Cultivation: Devise and implement strategies to enhance viewer interaction and cultivate a dynamic community. This includes actively engaging with viewers through comments, stimulating discussions, and building connections.
• Promotional Campaigns and Marketing: Design and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the podcast across YouTube and other digital channels. Work in concert with influencers, leverage social media platforms, and consider paid advertising avenues to increase the podcast's visibility.
• Data Analytics and Performance Evaluation: Consistently monitor and analyze channel metrics to gain a deep understanding of audience behavior, content performance, and preferences. Utilize these insights to refine and adjust content and marketing strategies for optimal growth.

• Content Strategy and Growth: Proven track record in successfully growing YouTube channels, with a preference for those experienced in podcasting or similar content formats. Must possess a deep understanding of strategies for audience expansion and engagement.
• YouTube SEO and Analytics Expertise: The candidate must have a strong knowledge of YouTube's algorithms, SEO best practices, and the ability to leverage analytics to drive content decisions. Familiarity with YouTube Studio and YouTube Analytics is essential for monitoring progress and adapting strategies.
• Creative Production Skills: The candidate must have advanced skills in video editing and content creation, as well as proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie) and graphic design tools (like Adobe Photoshop or Canva). This includes the ability to produce visually appealing designs and engaging video content.
• Utilise AI Tools: Familiarity with Opus clips and similar AI software not a must but would be good.
• Digital Marketing and Promotion: Experience in digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance content visibility and audience growth. This includes skills in A/B testing, social media promotion, and the development of compelling copy for video titles, descriptions, and calls to action.
• Analytical and Research Abilities: Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and inform content strategies. Should be adept at conducting competitor analysis and audience research to uncover trends and opportunities for content differentiation.
• Operational Excellence: You must be capable of developing and managing a content calendar to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality videos. To improve viewer retention and engagement, you must continuously optimize content features such as playlists, end screens, and video descriptions.
