Job Description

• Responsible in monitor,govern, develop and evaluate overall corporate strategy, analysis, and planningemphasis on bottom line financial and operating performance management tomaximise value for community, investors and shareholders.
• Governing assets andoperations of the Group’s companies’ portfolio.
• Leading anorganizational transition as a leader, a change agent, and an active motivatorin partnership with the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
• Restructure the financeand accounting teams across the Group.
• Develop, lead, anddirect the accounting and finance departments.
• Provide useful financialinsights to make the best decisions about executing our business strategy.
• Manage the company'sfinancial operations, including working capital, capital expenditures, debtlevels, taxes, budgets, and general accounting.
• Manage forecasting,budgeting, consolidation, planning, and analysis processes.
• Identify, develop, andimplement financial plans to meet the company's strategic goals, growthopportunities, and market direction.
• Develop and maintainstable cash flow management policies and procedures while ensuring cashresources are available for daily operations.
• Ensure all financial, operationalcontrols and metrics are implemented and monitored within the organization.
• Responsible for thefinancial reports and results announcement in compliance with MFRS, IFRS, theCompanies Act 2016, listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia, and otherregulatory requirements.
• Create a financialeffectiveness and analyse current and future business operations.
• Foster positive andimpactful relationships with investors, shareholders, and outsidelending/equity organizations with the Group CEO.
• Maximize investment returns by developing andexecuting plans

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance,Accounting or any qualification align with a professional qualification MIA.
• Exhibits strong teamwork skills, with15-20 years of finance experience, ideally within publicly traded enterprises.
• Demonstrates a 'player-coach' mindset,capable of both executing tasks and mentoring emerging finance professionals.
• Possesses a curious and collaborativeapproach, prioritizing understanding to effectively collaborate with colleaguesand optimize outcomes.
• Proficient in analytical thinking andproblem-solving, adept at transforming data into practical strategies.
