They are world-class humans who want to get world-class at delegation. The Finance Analyst will help in empowering the Company to consistently meet and exceed government requirements. By ensuring rigorous adherence to regulations, the Finance Analyst will act as a protective shield, guarding against penalties resulting from non-compliance. Additionally, the Analyst plays a proactive role in identifying and capitalizing on available tax incentives, strategically positioning the Company to optimize its financial advantages while maintaining a steadfast commitment to regulatory compliance.

High-level Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely filing/submission and payment of compliance requirements of the entity and its affiliates for regulatory and tax agencies
  • Ensures accurate tax computation for filing to tax authorities on a monthly/ quarterly/ annual basis as well as during audit and initiate and monitor the renewals of permits
  • Process the application of Company to various registrations with government agencies necessary for the business such as but not limited to registration of new entity/branch, tax incentives, etc.
  • Assist in addressing and managing tax notices and assessments including robust document and schedule preparation, proprietary assessment of the findings, and draft reply/protest letters for review of Tax Manager before submission to tax authorities
  • Highlight improvement areas on the team’s current process and propose solutions
  • Assist in the transfer pricing requirements and in all phantom team’s projects
  • Serve as the point of contact for the entity and its affiliates with its external support suppliers and in charge of overall coordination (law firms, audit firms, accounting firms)
  • Other ad hoc tasks such as providing advisory services to internal stakeholders on matters relating to compliance

About You

  • At least 3-5 years prior experience in handling the same function
  • CPA/Juris Doctor is preferred but not required
  • Global experience is preferred
  • Highly knowledgeable in PH taxation and regulations
  • Prior experience working with accounting systems such as Quickbooks is preferred
  • Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (365) and Google Suite
  • Prior experience using database tools and spreadsheet software such as MySQL, Excel, and Google Sheets is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information
  • Ready to actively engage in on-site activities and legwork required for government registrations, demonstrating a hands-on and proactive approach
  • Must be a resident or willing to be relocated within Metro Manila
  • Willing to work in a virtual environment, full-time or 40 hours per week
