We all need to play our part. At PwC, in addition to our net zero and sustainability commitments, the biggest impact we make on Sustainability and ESG is through the work that we do with our clients. Companies need to drive ESG into the heart of their businesses. Success requires strategy through execution and a commitment to identify, measure and prove their progress against ESG targets. We advise and support our clients on their net zero and sustainability journeys. We work across our global teams forming multidisciplinary teams of sustainability experts to deliver the best solutions to our clients. By joining us, you will support and further enhance our delivery of trusted solutions to assist our clients with risk management and reporting. As a Manager in this area, the role will include the following:
- Actively challenge and help shape the current strategy for our clients
- Help us size the market in terms of these opportunities, identify ESG gaps in the market and support opportunities to create value propositions
- Plan and structure a team to bring in behind and deliver the work
- Dedicate time to build PwC’s profile publicly
- Demonstrate Thought Leader abilities with proven track record in providing services in relation to sustainability and non-financial reporting on ESG issues including:
- Non-financial reporting, processes and controls
- Current and emerging reporting frameworks which may include GRI, SASB, integrated reporting, SDGs, TCFD, CSRD, EU taxonomy and SFDR
- Using own network to start discussions with key people in this space
- Lead discussions with clients
- Lead work in their areas of expertise
- The manager grade requires a minimum of five to seven years relevant experience
- The successful candidates will be qualified in some aspect of climate change, sustainability or ESG (or equivalent)
- Exhibiting extensive project management skills, including developing and overseeing the successful execution of project plans, budgets, deliverables, staffing, billing and collections; and,
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), the ability to deal with people across all levels of an organisation, a genuine interest in providing high quality service to clients, being commercially aware, show initiative, and be able to drive projects from commencement to completion.
