Duty Manager

DUTY MANAGER My client, a family run hotel in Gort, is looking to hire a dynamic Duty Manager. As the Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, overseeing various aspects of guest services, staff management, and administrative tasks. You will work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of service, optimize guest satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities: · Ensure prompt and courteous service delivery to guests, addressing any concerns or special requests in a timely manner. · Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. · Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay. · Supervise and support front desk staff, housekeeping team, and other operational staff members. · Monitor daily hotel operations, addressing any issues or challenges as they arise. · Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. · Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address any maintenance issues promptly. · Assist in the coordination and execution of weddings, functions, and other events hosted at the hotel. · Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, staff performance, and operational activities. · Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs within budget. Requirements: · Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a hotel environment. · Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset. · Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. · Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. · Knowledge of hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
