itContracting are seeking applicants for an Office 365/Microsoft Training and Support Specialist for their client Cork/Kerry. Hybrid working available. This is a Fixed Term Contract up until December 2025.

  • Have significant experience in and knowledge of the Office 365 and Microsoft Technologies including Azure.
  • The potential candidate should have experience in implementing and designing training and support.
  • Self-development skills and the ability to take initiative to improve business processes or problems
  • Assessment of new process impact on existing users including the organising of workshops and the collation of feedback.
  • Communication and support as required to implement processes and identified changes.
  • Managing support on Banner related queries.
  • Training on new Office 365 processes, features and enhancements
  • Designing and developing a new training programme and associated resources.
  • Develop multi-media resources to support the training including creating a knowledge repository.
  • Development and delivery of Training Plan
  • Assist other IT team members in the development and implementation of projects that will enhance the services provided for all users
  • Assist staff with training / change issues they may have logged through the helpdesk/ServiceDesk.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to implement efficiencies and improvements.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Perform and undertaking other duties as reasonably required from time to time
Essential Criteria
  • An appropriate Level 8 under the NQAI Framework i.e., Primary Honours Degree or equivalent, and at least 3 years relevant professional postgraduate experience at an appropriate level
Desirable Criteria / Experience
  • A good knowledge of the Office 365 and other Microsoft Technologies
  • Strong practical experience in the following activities: Communication, Training, Change Management and Support.
  • Experience in front facing IT Support Helpdesk environment(s).
  • Experience with Office 365 applications and/or administration.
  • Experience in media related software.
  • A background in technical IT roles such as security, Cloud (Azure or AWS) or systems/network architecture.
