Description: Hotel in Tampa is in need of a Resort Maintenance Technician with experience responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure full physical functionality of all facilities, units and Determine the repair procedures and conducting repair on defective equipment and Perform a variety of inspections, repairs and maintenance Maintain all tools to ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working order, ensuring the proper use, cleanliness of equipment, and storage in proper areas at the end of your Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities include:
- Check maintenance request board for any preventive or scheduled
- Complete maintenance requests and inform appropriate personal upon
- Coordinate with manager when it is necessary to place a room out of order for
- Assist with preventative maintenance for guest. This will include:
- Inspecting rooms for proper lighting conditions; replace light bulbs as
- Inspect the operation and condition of stove, refrigerator, dishwashing machine, microwave, washing machine, dryer and televisions; repair defective appliances or contact supervisor for major
- Inspect condition of furniture; touch up as
- Inspect operation of blinds and drapes; repair as
- Inspect cabinet doors, dresser drawers; repair as
- Inspect toilet for condition and functionality; repair as
- Inspect all faucets, shower controls for correct. Correct any
- Inspect A/C filter to make sure it is clean; replace if
- Check sliding door. Make sure lock is working correctly; adjust as
- Check screen on balcony/patio; replace any torn
- Check for any paint issues inside. Perform paint touch up as
- Walk all hallways and sitting areas while checking for any maintenance needs (i.e., light bulbs that need to be replaced, paint touch up areas,).
- Perform exterior property walk and address all. Sweep debris from front and rear entrances and spot clean these areas as
- Inspect East and West stairwells and clean as
- Check parking lot areas and pick up trash. Check salt levels of water softener and alert manager if new salt is
- Report issues that might be considered a safety hazard to the General Manager or Maintenance Director. Maintain strict confidentiality. Perform other duties assigned by General Manager or Maintenance. Pay: $16 hr.
