A Head of Internal Audit position has become available with an FMCG business in KSA. This position is to be based in Riyadh and you will hold responsibility for providing an annual opinion on Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Internal Controls in accordance with best international practice and local Corporate Governance Rules. To include the following responsibilites: Assist the Board of Directors, through the Audit & Risk Committee, to safeguard and improve the interests of the company Appraise the CEO and the Audit & Risk Committee of the outcomes of audit reviews and of matters which the Head of Internal Audit feels are of potential interest, and provide relevant copies of reports produced. Agree an annual scope of audit work with the CEO and the Audit & Risk Committee, so as to provide adequate coverage of the principal areas of risk to the company Appraise the Audit & Risk Committee on the management of risk within the company Assist Management by evaluating the operation of business processes from a control and business effectiveness viewpoint To be considered for this role you should posess the following: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Accounting or related discipline Institute of Internal Audit membership At least 10 years PQE Audit firm experience Implementing ERM and advanced practical, proportionate and commercial Audits Multi Cultural working environment experience Minimum 10 Years relevant Internal Audit Experience in Blue Chip/ Large Listed Businesses A proven track record in building and leading risk based multi cultural audit functions English fluency – verbal and written About The Company Hays is the leading global specialist recruiting group.
