Exports/ Imports Controller

DUR002094 - EXPORT/ IMPORT CONTROLLER - PROSPECTONPurpose of the job  To be responsible for managing the entire client Controller process for the clearing of sea, freight, air, and road functions for both imports and exports.Required Qualifications:Matric (as a minimum)Further shipping or logistics courses or certificates will be advantageous.Technical Competencies & Responsibilities Minimum five years experience in import Bill of Entry tariffing and import and export procedures (sea and air, groupage and FCLs) as a Client ControllerComputer literacy: Outlook and ExcelReceive booking and Open file/Register on ShipshapeProcess imports and export files for air, sea, and road from start to invoicing/delivery.Handle Haz applications if applicable.Check Stack Dates/ATA and monitor all containers in stack.Process SAD500 for both Imports/ExportsProcess EUR1/SI/Certificate and arrange fumigation/inspections.Request Invoices from 3rd parties and process them.Process Disbursement Journals for all files.Attend to queries/correspondence.Communicate with clients and suppliers. Behavioural Competencies:Good communication skills both written and verbal.Interpersonal skills.Deadline driven.Time management skills.Able to handle a high volume of work & pressure.Takes initiative.IMPORTANT - Only shortlisted candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered.  If you do not hear from us within two weeks of applying, please consider yourself unsuccessful. See more job opportunities at - www.hcrecruit.co.za
