QHSE Manager - Oilfield Services

An international oilfield services company based in the UAE is looking for a QHSE Manager. This is direct hire, non-rotational, permanent role. Current or previous experience in the same field and position is mandatory. This role is office-based position.
Job Description:
- Ensure conformances to company's safety management system, report and take preventive and corrective measures.
- Develop an efficient and effective QHSE systems and process and set performance targets.
- Maintain proper documentation of all QHSE activities and submit performance report to Management on a monthly basis.
- Facilitate training and share best practices within the organization to maintain consistent and high-quality standards
- Conduct checks on sub-contractors and suppliers and evaluate on their quality systems and standards.
- Supervise all personnel working with him work safely and environmentally aware
- Supervise in developing and designing QHSE management system documentation in compliance with company policies and state regulations
- Lead in the implementation of QHSE and related systems
- Formulate, plan and monitor the annual budget for QHSE expenditures
- Implement behavioural based safety systems and provide training to all employees
- Vital link between management and personnel on all safety performance and adherence issues.
- Initiate regular internal audits to review and maintain company safety standards and work with external coordinators on external audits.
- Supervise and ensure that all the activities are carried out with due regard for QHSE policies
- Maintain all safety records including induction training, QHSE training, inspections, audits and accident investigation/ reports
- Act as Management Representative for QHSE Management System implementation and perform related works
- Liaison with client safety representatives when necessary
- Conduct regular QHSE audits
- Plans for monitoring implementation of the safety policy document.
- Perform to instil a strong safety performance culture (0 LTI).
- Ensure compliance with all QHSE regulatory requirements.
- Revise and propose amendments and meet established company standards and requirements
