Cost Accountant - Import and ExportsLocation: GermistonSalary: R600 000CTC (Included benefits Medical Aid and Pension)About the position:Minimum Requirements:Relevant Finance Degree or Diploma3-5 years experience in a similar roleKnowledge and experience of foreign exchangeImports and exports experience (from an accounting perspective)Strong, professional communication and presentation skillsExperience with Microsoft's Office programmesPastelStrong sense of responsibility About the position:Cost accounting: Process supplier invoices on Pastel according to requirements, especially item codes, store locations and VAT for machine imports.Process customer invoices on Pastel according to requirements, especially item codes, sales codes, store locations and VAT for machine sales, both local and export, machine parts, accessories, tooling packages and consumables.Full creditor function for machines, freight forwarders and intercompany suppliers.Monitor Pastel reports - inventory valuation by store, sales and gross profit analysis by sales code, customer, and items to ensure accurate processing of all invoices.Project costing.Arrange cyclical and year-end stock counts.Send out monthly customer statements.Credit control and follow-up on outstanding payments.Providing weekly status updates on customer age analysis and collectionsFinancial accounting: Fixed asset registerBanking, Payroll and HR support
