Responsibilities:

Provide cost analysis and evaluation of project cost, project forecast, and cost trend analysis.

Provide professional judgment and experience in business and program cost planning, cost estimating, cost control, and change management.

Participate in the budgeting process for capital projects.

Initiate funding for project proposal development and monitor proposal activities.

Assist in the preparation of expenditure requests to ensure adequacy.

Prepare and process project change orders and schedule changes.

Assist in the preparation for quarterly review by executive management.

Participate in the project close-out phase.

Requirements:

Minimum four (4) year bachelor's degree from an accredited UK university in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Certification related to Cost Engineering, such as CCE (Certified Cost Engineer), CCP (Certified Cost Professional), and/or PMP (Project Management Professional), will be considered an asset.

Experience: At least 10 years' experience in construction cost engineering.

At least five years of experience in the cost control aspect of construction projects.
