Structures Manager - Roads - UAE National Jobs in Dubai, UAE by Sommerman Skinner Associates (SSA Limited) | ArabJobs.com Structures Manager - Roads - UAE NationalSommerman Skinner Associates (SSA Limited) - Dubai, UAE Posted In 10/12/2013 Apply For Job Applicants 22 Views 5073 Job Description KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES•Develop roads structures maintenance strategic objectives and plans for the maintenance and rehabilitation projects by setting the numeric goals and key initiatives to achieve the goals, based on the current and expected performance, and within specifications.•Deliver and maintain roads' structures and technologies systems with all associated facilities to the highest standards and to carry out roads structures activities either internally or by the use of contractors including the management and evaluation of consultants and contractors.•Manage the Maintenance of bridges and tunnels, Maintenance of metal barriers, electromechanical equipment, fire fighting systems, cameras, emergency phones in and all related building facilities road structures, etc.•Manage the requirements and development of Bridge Maintenance Management System (BMMS).•Review Maintenance Contracts Documents and Maintenance Contractor Performance.•Ensure that snag lists for all new structures are prepared and submitted to the Roads Department for rectification•Manage the development of strategic and operation KPI, Performance Management, and Quality and Operational Manuals for the activities of Road Structures and Facilities Maintenance Section.•Manage the contract and the contract renewal procedure in order to ensure that all technical, contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements are addressed.•Direct and ensure the implementation of the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Emirate's traffic and roads structures and facilities, and related road structures and associated road facilities/ features.•Undertake preparation of tender documents and the technical evaluation of the offers.•Check and monitor all pavement condition for all roads / structures maintenance in Dubai.•Supervise all structures and associated facilities/road features maintenance works by managing consultants / contractors effec Job Category Engineering Job Requirements Experience Min: 7 Years Career LevelJunior Job TypeFull Time Vacancies2 Open Positions Salary Negotiable GenderAny Degree LevelBachelor's degree Faculty / Institute Any Major Civil Engineering Age Any NationalityAny Residence Location Any Languages Any Own a CarAny Have Driving LicenseAny Job Skills •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university•Min. 7 years of working experience•Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.•Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications•Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
