Job Responsibilities:

Definition of enterprise platforms using APIs exposed over the internet or internally via private networks (B2B and B2C via third-party integration).

Datacenter (on-premises) and cloud deployments of API solutions using DevOps.

Design and development of REST (including Web Sockets) APIs using Java.

Working in an Agile environment (Scrum and/or Kanban).

API design principles and software design patterns.

Server-side architecture, design and development.

Distributed systems, messaging and microservices architecture.

Job Requirements:

Consulting or Advisory engagements, working directly with clients to support the development of banking strategies, roadmaps and transformation Programs.

Translating business requirements into technical solution designs, which may include

Developing solution architectures to meet requirements, both functional and non-functional, using packaged off the shelf components and bespoke solutions development as appropriate in multi-million-pound projects.

Conducting solution architecture and design reviews of existing systems or in-flight projects and communicating the findings of the review back to stakeholders, working within and running a client's Technical Design Authority.

Providing guidance to projects and programs.

Delivering solutions that conform to company and industry standards and best practices.

Representing Sapient professionally in customer engagements, using excellent inter-personal skills to develop and realize further opportunities for the company.
