Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE
Description:
Reporting to the Cluster Director, Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee Opera Sales and Catering system to include definite, tentative and prospective group and catering booking activity.
Generate group sales contracts, proposals and deposit/payment invoicing
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external Guests
Respond to general inquiries during site inspections
Prioritize all telephone calls and in-person visitors, scheduling appointments as required
Job Requirements:
Two years' experience working for a luxury hotel; and/or other sales related experience preferred
Strong work ethic and the ability to work extended hours when required
Strong organization and time management skills
Proven ability to work efficiently in a demanding and fast paced environment
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Opera Sales & Catering, and ability to understand and interpret financial data
