Due to anticipated growth throughout 2023, Wood is currently inviting applications of Field Piping Engineers with experience in oil and gas engineering for our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities:

Develops solutions to engineering and other field related issues that arise from the execution of project installation activities.

Provide timely and complete resolution to technical questions and requests for information

Resolve design conflict and field interference issues

Maintain and publish field sketches for problem resolution

Maintain Project As-Built drawings

Travel to off-site fabrication facilities, as necessary, to verify material supply complies with project specifications

Work Package development

Task plan support and assistance as needed as directed by Engineering Manager

Requirements:

BSc, BEng or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum of 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in Piping field engineering activities within construction, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector

Experience in FPSO Projects

Knowledge of quality control documentation, practices and procedures
