About the job
Connected Place Catapult provides impartial 'innovation as a service' for public bodies, businesses, and infrastructure providers to catalyse step-change improvements in the way people live, work and travel. We connect businesses and public sector leaders to cutting-edge research to spark innovation and grow new markets. We run technology demonstrators and SME accelerators to scale new solutions that drive growth, spread prosperity, and eliminate carbon.
Requirement
Experience in client facing open innovation and a good understanding of and passion for Connected Places Catapult's technology and market focus areas
Experience in planning and delivering technology testbeds/ living labs/ demonstrators in urban environments
Experience in developing and successfully raising funding for innovation projects
Professional, confident and clear communicator with a client-focused mindset and the ability to understand cutting-edge technologies
Experience in working with government officials, particularly working in foreign markets.
