About this role: As Head of Logistics, Operations & Supply Chain for part of Europe's Central, Eastern & Nordic market, you will be based at the Companies HQ in Amsterdam, with frequent travelling throughout the region. Your main mission will be to ensure that the supply chain management is efficient and effective in a multi country, widely geographically spread region. The successful candidate will define & build the logistic network needed for business set up, and ensure a smooth operational running for a seamless client & in store experience, in close partnership with retail and corporate key players. This requires a hands-on, agile and exceptionally well organized management, who works with a pragmatic, business oriented approach with internal & external stakeholders. This role reports directly to the European CEO in Amsterdam, and functionally to the Head of Logistic & Supply Chain based in Tel Aviv, Israel. ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain & Logistic management in network·Planning and managing logistics, warehousing and transportation activities, including ecommerce fulfilment across multiple countries·Selecting and negotiating contracts and rates with logistic suppliers and overseeing their daily activities·Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency·Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance of logistic network activities·Managing inbound import deliveries and ensuring speedy processing from arrival at port till delivery to logistic warehouse·Correspond with stores, suppliers, warehouses, and transportation hubs to ensure efficiency·Resolve any arising problems or complaints from retail network, anticipating their needs through close partnership with the merchandising and retail teams.·Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.·Driving process improvements, enhancing work efficiency, cost optimization, and implementing these changes effectively in the network.·Manage the procurement of packaging materials and other Consumables required for logistic activities·Oversee in-store logistic operations to ensure efficiency and stock accuracy, partnering with the Operations Managers or the in store Stock Responsible, to maximize operational efficiency, and facilitate the sales teams daily operations.Project Management Manage all the logistics operations related to new store opening, events and the launch of new markets in the region ·Support retail supply chain projects and ad hoc assignments. Ensure the execution with feedback for improving operation efficiency.Requirements and skills·Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field.·At least 5 years of experience in a managerial similar role in a multy country environment.·In-depth knowledge of the retail industry or FMCG is a advantage.·Hands-on, agile and able to work independently handling multiple projects.·Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management practices·Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.·Proven experience working with logistics and inventory management software.SAP know how is a plus.·Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsThis role implicates weekly travel throughout the network, and a valid VISA to work in the European Union.Functie
