Division Manager, Civil / Infrastructure / Design | Engineering ConsultancyPosted 18 hours agoEngineering consultancy providing services across CanadaOur client, an engineering consultancy offices across Canada has a current opening for currently have an opening for a Civil Infrastructure Group Manager in their Vancouver office.The successful candidate will lead the Infrastructure Group in the Infrastructure Division. The Infrastructure Group is responsible for providing civil engineering and advisory services throughout B.C. The Group services a diverse client sector including public sector and private sector clients such as Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Governments, Private Sector Clients, and Contractors.As the Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate must be able to: (1) manage all project execution and business development aspects of the Company's business within the specified services for which the Infrastructure Group has been formed, and (2) ensure that all technical and administrative aspects of our services are being performed in a manner consistent with the Company's goals, standards and performance objectives.Responsibilities:Managing and coordinating technical staff and assigning resources to projectsManaging and supervising staff and assisting with recruitment, career planning and salary reviewsPromoting staff development and growth through coaching and mentoringPreparing technical reports, proposals, design briefs, design drawings and specificationsEnsuring quality and accuracy of designs, reports, and studiesEnsuring project needs are met in an effective and timely matterManaging client relationshipsBusiness development and marketingEnsuring financial success of the company through proactive project management and coaching of project managers and project teamJob Requirements:Registered with EGBC as a P.Eng.10+ years of experience in design, engineering, construction and management of which a minimum of 5 years is in a consulting capacityProject management of civil municipal and regional infrastructure projectsConsulting and/or professional experience in B.C. is an assetExperience in business development in both private and public sectorsExperience in liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultantsExperience in coaching and mentoring staffStrong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsCommitted team player and an independent workerAbility to travel across CanadaPossess a valid driver's license.Diverse workforce and teamwork philosophyEmployee-owned, Canadian company that is passionate about building communities that are vibrant, healthy, and resilient and support economic growthA hybrid work environment that allows for a combination of working from home and in the officeCommitted to the growth and careers of our people, and we take great care in hiring the right people to join our team for the long term.
