NoteAustralian & New Zealand citizens who have an interest in pursuing employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia are strongly encouraged to submit their applicationsPosition DescriptionWe are looking for a Finance IT Control Assurance Analyst with expertise in Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance (SOX) to join the Controller's Organization within the Finance, Strategy & Development service line. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with financial reporting controls and maintaining good corporate governance throughout the organization.Minimum RequirementsThe ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, accompanied by professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CIA, or relevant accounting qualifications. Ongoing professional education and membership in a professional association are necessary. Experience in industries like public accounting, recent SOX compliance in a publicly listed company, and knowledge of auditing principles, SOX regulations, and Internal Controls frameworks are highly desirable.Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems is a plus.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Finance IT Control Assurance Analyst will be responsible for implementing internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) standards, including COSO framework and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. This includes planning, developing, and coordinating the execution of all phases of SOX compliance. The candidate will conduct walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and evaluate key controls, providing advice on control deficiencies and remediation plans. They will contribute to risk assessments, introduce automation for SOX program management, and participate in ad-hoc projects.
