What You Will Do:• Contribute to the definition of the Global Servicesproduct vision and strategy • Conduct thorough marketresearch and customer analysis • Define and ownPercona's Services portfolio roadmap • Identifycustomer needs and opportunities • Design new Servicesproducts and features, and enhance existing Services products• Ensure the successful launch of new Services products• Own the implementation of new product launch (education,pricing/SKU updates, etc) • Be accountable for the growthand adoption of Services products • Own the completeServices product lifecycle from incubation to sunsetting •Develop and maintain relationships with strategic customer contacts• Act as a sales support resource and evangelist foropportunities related to Services products • Work withProduct and Engineering teams to integrate the services andsoftware customer experience • Analyze product performanceincluding revenue, adoption and customer satisfaction What You HaveDone: • At least five years Product Management experience,preferably in service offerings within a software ecosystem• Experience with open-source software, services andcommunities • Demonstrated ability to effectivelycommunicate with both internal team members and external customers• Utilized metrics and data to make informed decisions andgenerate actionable insights • Experience working with ageographically distributed remote team You'll stand outif you have the following: • Hands-on experience workingwith one or more of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDBand related technologies • Strong understanding of theneeds and challenges users and customers face when deploying MySQL,MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and/or other databases •Strong public speaking skills with an ability to evangelize• Start-up/scale-up experience, with an appreciation ofthe dynamics of a growing services and software company PersonalAttributes: • Active listener with the ability to askmeaningful questions at the right time • Exceptionalrelationship builder, viewing customers as equals in the journey• A passionate and natural teacher who enjoys educatingtheir team, company, and customers • Independent with theability to work with minimal direction • Clear and concisecommunicator in every situation • Strong work ethic withan entrepreneurial approach Percona is a respected thought leaderin the open source community.
