Job PurposeResponsible foroverseeing NFS Onplot FEED Contractor in delivery of all aspects ofPiping design, equipment, materials, technical and executiondefinition, including planning and execution of detailed design,procurement, installation, testing and commissioning. Ensurestechnical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheetsetc.) developed and implemented during EPC, fully comply withproject requirements and through effective collaboration andinterfaces ensures process design considers for full productionlife cycle.Qualifications Bachelor Degree in MechanicalEngineering discipline or equivalent.Knowledge and/orExperience12 years of experience at a senior PipingEngineering supervisory level with a broad knowledge of engineeringexecution including design standards, specifications, codes, safetycriteria, onshore LNG facilities design, construction andoperations. Experience with cryogenic piping systemsdesign.Technical and BusinessSkills Excellentwritten and oral English skills. Strong organisational, planningand coordination skills. Strong technical, prioritisation andmanagement skills. Strong communication and team working skills.Good communication, influencing and interface skills. Proficient inMicrosoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes,etc.Key Job Accountabilities1. Provide PipingEngineering knowledge, design, quality assurance and expertisewhile managing thePiping team in accordance with projectdeliverables and execution schedule.2. Direct thepreparation and stewardship of Piping Engineering scope of work inEPC contract, adviseand recommend design procedures,processes, deliverables and alternative studies, asrequired,to optimise project cost andschedule.3. Interact with Engineering Team Management tocomplete multi-discipline engineeringactivities,ensuring alignment with the EngineeringManager on project engineering needs, objectives,andrequirements.4. Accountable for ensuringexecution of work is technically aligned and in compliance withQatargasOperations, Policies, Standards of BusinessConduct and Qatargas Project ManagementSystem(QGPMS).5. Manage FEEDContractor's Piping Engineering activities includingvalidation of personnel numbers,qualifications andexperience; usage of appropriate design tools, including computerhardware andsoftware; adherence with all projectobjectives, requirements, specifications,standards,procedures, execution plans and designverification processes.
