Directs the daily activities of Offshorejack-up units to ensure that all drilling and workover operationsare conducted efficiently in accordance with the drilling programand the CLIENT Drilling Reference Manual(DRM).Manages HSE performance on the assignedOffshore rigs by enforcing the requirements of the DrillingReference Manual (DRM) and by participating in the accidentinvestigation team for all high potential rig incidents (includingall Lost Time Incidents) to ensure lessons are captured andcorrective action is taken across all drilling relatedoperations.Contributes to the formulation ofprocedures and operational programs to achieve the offshoredrilling and workover objectives and ensure that the DrillingSupervisors, Drilling Contractor Personnel and Service CompanyPersonnel are aware of and implement these procedures and programscorrectly.Analyzes and resolve operationalproblems such as well kicks and stuck pipe events to minimize losttime, safeguard the well bore integrity and avoid recurrence infuture wells.Manages and monitors the day-to-dayactivities of the drilling contractor and service companies toensure that the drilling program is followed accurately and thatflawless execution is achieved in alloperations.
