DescriptionTo ensure that the accounts receivable are collected in time and the records are updated accurately.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for getting outstanding accounts paidGet marketing invoices signed off by management and clearing it before closing off the systemResponsible for sending out statements and invoices monthlyEnsuring that all debtors queries are addressedBanking and processing of payments into the debtors accountsLiaising with the Manager regarding Barters on Agent accountsFollowing up on overdue payments on agent accountsDealing with the banks and bank accountsReconciling all the deposits on the various bank accountsMonth end Reports for managementTeam WorkBuilding and maintaining good relationships within the teamBuilding relationships and supporting all business units within the Business Unit Qualifications and ExpertiseMatric/Grade 12Tertiary Qualification in Financial Accounting would be preferred7 years accounts receivable experienceExperience in Tourplan and Quicktrav would be preferredCompetencyA mature approach when dealing with peopleAttention to detailCapacity for dealing with employees at all levelsConfidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with peopleExcellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision-making skillsGood conflict resolution skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIntegrity and HonestyGood interpersonal skillsGood Problem solving skillsGood Negotiation skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
