An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced ICTArchitecture Lead to join our Corporate Services Division withinthe Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

The role will be a part of our Information & CommunicationTechnology (ICT) branch and will require someone with a strongapplication (software) architecture background in a complexapplication landscape, ideally combined with exposure to and/or thedevelopment of application roadmaps and an understanding ofApplication Lifecycle Management (ALM) as a capability. Ideally youwill have had experience with or exposure to the setting of astrategic direction as to how to pivot to a new architecture thatunderpins component reuse and a digital service delivery agenda.Furthermore, any experience with / exposure to having set adirection and/or supported a transition to a hybrid on-prem/cloudarchitecture where cloud enablement is driven by business benefitwill be highly advantageous.

The ICT Architecture Lead is responsible for:

Providing high level strategic advice to the ICT Committeeand PIRSA Executive for future investment in ICT and Digitalsystems to support business outcomes, drive businessefficiencies and secure the integrity of the ICTenvironment.Developing and assisting in implementation of ICT Digital& Technology roadmaps aligned with the ICT and businessstrategy.Developing ICT architectures and standards for theorganisation that enables the implementation of thePIRSA's ICT and Digital strategy, PIRSA's CorporatePlan and interoperability with whole of governmentsystems.Collaborating with senior ICT and PIRSA Division managersto convert business practices and processes into architecturalframeworks, facilitating the implementation of streamlined andimpactful technology solutions.Undertaking high level research, horizon scanning andanalysis to identify future ICT trends, and assessapplicability to support business objectives.About Us

ASO8 - $119,317 min - $123,822 max per annum, plussuperannuation
