Position As our client progresses to the next phase of growth and celebrates an internal promotion, they are in search of a seasoned Operations Manager. The role's objective is to lead and manage the client's operations while supporting the implementation of the company's strategy and vision.  As the Operations Manager you will ensure the plant is operating to maximum efficiency and you will be responsible for the safety of all people on site.  Experience/Skills & Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations - (JOB LOTS) Team Leadership and Development : Effective leadership is the cornerstone. Inspire teams, resolve conflicts, and create an environment that fosters growth and high performance Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work across departments. Collaborating with other teams ensuring seamless processes and alignment with organisational goals Risk Management and Compliance : Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulations are critical responsibilities. You will need to balance innovation with adherence to legal and ethical standards Collaborate closely with the dispatch coordinator to uphold a high level of service for our customers. Responsible for the effective upkeep of the facility, fleet and all equipment About you and what you will bring to the table….  Minimum 2 years warehouse and logistics management - Timber related products highly desirable but not essential (Any industry that has JOB LOTS)  Solid WHS knowledge and awareness Knowledge of computerised inventory systems using an ERP system surrounding stock control and sales order entry  Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead, inspire, mentor and motivate Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent time management, administration and organizational skills Strong customer focus with high level interpersonal skills Monitor external businesses and suppliers to ensure that they meet contractual obligations and stay within budgetary limits Establish quality control standards, budget and cost controls Ensure all established costs, quality, performance and delivery commitments are met Review work orders to determine work priorities Establish and maintain key customer relationships What's in it for you?  The Culture You'll be part of a fun, open, highly professional leadership team, and rewards-based culture where your input is encouraged, and your success is rewarded!  Benefits of the role are numerous, including: a key focus on career development; a great work environment; the excitement of being involved in a fast-growing organisation.
