Job Summary: EMEA Benefits SpecialistIn the role of EMEA Benefits Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to effectively implement Cubic's benefits programs. These programs are designed to foster the development, motivation, and retention of our productive and engaged employees.Key responsibilities also include staying well-informed about local employment laws and regulations across various EMEA countries. You will ensure that our practices align with these regulations in areas such as employment contracts, working hours, and leave policies. By doing so, you'll play a vital role in supporting our employees and maintaining legal compliance.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Benefits Administration: Assist in managing company benefit administration within the HRIS, including activities related to Life Insurance & Group income protection (Pension), Medicash memberships, childcare voucher orders, Ride 2 Work Scheme requests, and BUPA membership activities.Project Support: Provide administrative support for new projects, including TUPE and acquisitions, to ensure their successful execution.Document Management: Oversee process-controlled documents through the appropriate document control process, maintaining compliance with company policies and GDPR requirements.HRIS Maintenance: Administer the HR Information System, assist with SAP invoicing, and ensure the accuracy of HR/Payroll Information Systems. Keep records up to date and process changes promptly. Experience utilizing a HRIS system (Workday) is required.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within Benefits administration, utilizing Workday HCM and other available tools.Collaboration: Work closely with the San Diego-based HRIS team to support the system, including the maintenance of work patterns and contract types.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, such as HR business partners, payroll and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate resolution of cases.Communication: Create and distribute HR documents, letters, and other communications as needed.General Support: Provide ad hoc administrative support to the HR Director and HR team as required.Special Projects: Complete additional special projects within assigned deadlines.Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Cubic's values and compliance with company policies and procedures, including the code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental guidelines.Flexibility: In addition to the listed responsibilities, be prepared to perform other duties as assigned by your manager as needed.Minimum Job Requirements: College degree or equivalent plus a minimum of four years related experience.Experience with HR operations required. Proficient MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Experience utilizing a HRIS system (Workday) is required. Interest and ability to learn new systems.Ability to protect and handle confidential personnel information.Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under deadlines and shifting priorities.Must be detail-oriented and able to perform time-sensitive duties with high degree of accuracy.Must have professional demeanor and be able to work proficiently and demonstrate intellectual curiosity with a goal of continuous improvement.If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about contributing to our HR operations,we encourage you to apply for this vital role. Ensures timely responses to employee inquiries directly or through routing to the appropriate groups.Role Knowledge and Application As a skilled specialist completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways.Complexity and Problem-Solving Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Supervision Determines methods and procedures for new assignments.
