Investment Associate - Venture Capital

A Venture Capital firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join the Investment Team. This individual will work closely with the investment team in expanding the business in Southeast Asia. Responsibilities: As a key member of the team, you will participate in the execution process. You will identify and evaluate new investment themes and opportunities across Southeast Asia, and develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, management teams, and other stakeholders. You will assist with the preparation of investment materials, including investment memos, financial models, and presentations, and will monitor and analyse portfolio companies, including financial performance, market trends, and potential risks and opportunities. Qualifications: The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and over 4 years of experience in venture capital. Having experience in investing in series A to B stages and venture debt would be an advantage. You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial data, build financial models, and conduct detailed research. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas and analyses will allow you to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties. You are able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Your experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and transaction execution are highly valued. You are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who thrive in a strong team environment.
