Key Responsibilities

Cultivate and manage relationships with journalists and media outlets, spanning international titles and specialized publications.
Offer strategic media guidance to senior leaders and contribute to crisis communication management.
Assist in quarterly results announcements, handling media calls, interviews, and developing communication plans.
Create media materials, including announcements, press releases, and executive briefings.
Coordinate media interactions, interviews, and background briefings, providing on-site support during international events.
Respond promptly to media inquiries and develop materials aligning with global strategic objectives.
Identify opportunities for media engagement on high-value projects and support story generation activities.
Foster positive internal relationships to align with the goals of the International Media Relations Unit.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field, with equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in journalism, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably in energy, oil, and gas.
Previous experience as a spokesperson and a proven track record in crisis communications are advantageous.
Strong networking skills and a solid understanding of the media or public relations field are essential.
Adaptable with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility.
Excellent interpersonal skills, trustworthiness, and the ability to handle confidential topics.
Ability to develop and maintain networks, perform under pressure, and manage various requests.
