Presales and Solutions Director

Job Description Presales and Solutions Director Position Description We are looking for a Director of Consulting who will be accountable for bids and opportunities in Commercial Business Process Services by driving business development activities and ensuring process compliance with CGI's Business Engineering Management Framework. Your future duties and responsibilities The position requires identifying additional value or offering on bids by participating in client presentations, and Request for Proposal clarifications, documenting lessons learned, and monitoring opportunities to drive growth in Application Services. Additionally, this position should form a bid core team responsible for: • The overall solution of major bids • The standardization of tools and offerings • Building knowledge repository for all bids: tools, best practices, and case studies to be used for bids • Improving efficiency in bid work • Writing effective proposals • Working collaboratively with different BUs in building a winning solution • Expanding the Solution Architect expertise within the business unit • Contributing to the Expert Enablement program of APAC strategic business unit Required qualifications to be successful in this role What are the qualifications for this role?• Has at least 8 years of experience in BPS and 2 year's experience as SDM managing global delivery/teams • Has spent two (2) or more years in bids and proposals (business winning strategies, consultative selling, effective proposal management, solutions, and sales negotiation) Business Process Services or similar. • Experience in Wealth Management, preferred • Strong analytical and financial skills, and business acumen • Has participated in major bids for Business Pro Services (or similar) as Opportunity Pursuit Leader or Solutions Lead. • Has understanding and knowledge of the bid solutioning and management process and can conduct training to drive awareness and compliance at the management and member levels. • Can drive teamwork through good communication, coordination, initiative and accountability, attention to detail, and enthusiasm. • Can negotiate on a technical and commercial basis.
